About

Lulu Wentworth is a London based, multidisciplinary creative with a rich background in fashion and a deep fascination with the mystical. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, she spent over 20 years working as a stylist, consultant, and fashion editor. Her journey later led her to explore the mind and spirituality, retraining as a hypnotherapist. To reconnect with her creative instincts, Lulu returned to art - merging her love of magic, symbolism, and storytelling.

Her work focuses in the shadows, places we’re taught to avoid, but the devil is always with us. “I explore the parts that are deemed dark, sometimes shameful, or ‘scary’. By moving closer to what unsettles us, I believe we can disarm it. The deeper we step into the dark, the lighter our lives become.”

Through her art she seeks beauty in the forbidden: the devil as archetype, the mythic unknown, the quiet voice of uncertainty we all carry. Shadow is not the opposite of light but the space that gives light its shape. When we turn away from darkness, we stray further from understanding; when we confront it, we begin to see its purpose.

Her imagery moves between the seductive and the threatening, the misunderstood and the mystical. It leans into culture, mythology and the symbolic language of fear. Lulu is interested in the universal discomfort that arises when we face what we’d rather not see.

We all have a dark side - fragile and honest. Her work poses a simple question: Are you afraid of the dark?
